memory pools (holographic)

I think about how brain neurons look when they fire. I imagine that’s how our memories work, bouncing from pool to pool. Some sit in the water until they float to the bottom. I wonder what will surface in the coming years and what will never come back up. The duckweed ripples across, making some memories harder to make out than others.
